Scott finally got HIS new car. I always called the old Honda his car, which he didn't really like, but NOW the Mazda is HIS car! Funny boys!

S. digs her wheels too, in fact I have to lock the garage door because she just wanders out there whenever she feels like it and hangs out on her bike.


O. is totally fearless on her bike. She's taken a few tumbles, she cries a little and then hops right back on like a little trooper.
Oh no picture of T. on his new bike??? That's because he took a little fall on his first little excursion and now he's scared to get back on. We'll talk him into it when he sees his friend across the street out biking again.

Life is crazy busy as usual. We are FINALLY getting our living room back together--what a relief. We still have a little painting and then we'll be done......with that room and on to the next! The main hold up is that little hands like to touch wet paint! It looks about 1000 times better and I am so happy. It's been great having Scott home after school everyday but I'm pretty sure he's chomping at the bit to get back into coaching the girls are having a pretty tough season. He really made a sacrifice this year to help me with the kiddos--he rocks.

Quick kid update

T. doing great at piano. Still LOVES scouts. He tested for GATE (Gifted and Talented program at school) which I think is really just a program to give really smart kids who get antsy at school some extra work. T. is smart but does not get bored--or maybe he's okay with bored! Whatever! which is exactly what I told him about the test no worries---whatever! Loves his new primary teacher because she bribes them with candy(like the last one--if that's what works for eight 10 year old boys I'm on board!) and he will do anything for candy maybe I can slip her some ideas and a little extra candy if she can get him to unload the dishwasher and clean his room without a major meltdown--hmmmm--that is one great idea(maybe I already had that idea last time I wrote about T. Too lazy to go back and look, but it's a great idea even if I did have it twice). He's discovered Indiana Jones and is totally hooked.

O. she is so silly! So, I told her she could buy some nail polish at the store the other day. First she chose blue and then orange, then dark brown(can you imagine a 3 year old in dark brown nail polish!) I eventually talked her into a sparkly pink. She is great about trying new foods and her latest additions are tomatoes which she will pick off of my hamburger--she only likes the "salad and the mashed potatoes"( a.k.a. tomatoes) She also likes sweet bell peppers no she LOVES sweet bell peppers. She likes eggs with ketchup on the side. She eats a little egg and all the ketchup. She is very independent and I often have to do some quick talking to get her to turn her pants, shirt and socks around so they're on the right way. She also likes to wear her shoes on the wrong feet, but she can do it by herself and does not want help! She loves primary and gives me a full report every Sunday on how each of the kids behaved and she does so with a great deal of drama! She's a riot

S. Oh S.!!! The WILD child I literally chase her around the church for an entire hour every Sunday. She is a talking machine and I'm sure in a few years she and O. will just chat each others ears off. She tries to say everything and has an obsession with kleenex. Even in the middle of a hysterical tantrum she will stop long enough to ask for a kleenex and get her nose wiped and then back to the tantrum. She also LOVES to streak. She usually can't get her clothes off but she can get her jammies off and the minute she is down to her diaper, it's over! And by the way don't mess with her because she is afraid of no one!!

Gotta run lots to do. I have to give a presentation on nutrition at Enrichment(church org.) next month--now don't laugh. I do have a degree in Health! And Scott and I are giving a presentation at LDS Family Services adoption conference at the end of the month which I'm way excited about but also overwhelmed.
